Trees Start your own family tree at Some services are free, others require a paid subscription; however you might be able to access most of what offers for free at your local library. Both Genealogy Sisters each have our own world wide subscription and find it well worth the cost.

RootsIreland Most services require a paid subscription, but this database has proven a treasure trove for our family.

Census Records for Ireland - 1901 & 1911 Easy to search. I copy and down load records into an Excel spreadsheet and then sort them every which way to find clues to our family history.

Catholic Parish Registers at the National Library of Ireland - not all parishes, no index, but if you have an idea where your relative lived, and what year they were born and/or married, it's just like the old days when you searched through microfilms at the local FHC, except you can do it at home from your computer.
