(Almost) Wordless Wednesday – Le Mans Cathedral – 1944

Le mans Cathedral, 1944. Photo taken by James Doran

This photograph, taken by James Doran from Harrison, New Jersey, of the Roman Catholic Le Mans Cathedral in France during the Second World War, is so peaceful. Perhaps visiting the Cathédrale St-Julien du Mans, as it is called in French, brought him a moment of serenity during those troubled times.

With Veterans Day this last Monday, wishing all veterans many blessings, peace, and serenity. Thank you all for your service!
