At Camp Gordon, three buddies from Company I, of the 12th Infantry Regiment, Fourth Infantry Division (IVY) are getting ready for World War II in 1942. It is near Augusta, Georgia and is now called Fort Gordon. In the photograph below, James Doran is on the left. The man on the right is Mike from Rhode Island.
