(Almost) Wordless Wednesday – Winter Fun, January 1935

SnowMaryStakesSnowMaryStakesBHere are two friends having a good time playing in the snow at our grandparent’s farm in Readington Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, in 1935. How I miss that place! I used to love pumping water right outside the kitchen door. I hope you are having some winter fun today. Wordless Wednesday is a blogging prompt suggested by Geneabloggers. Happy Wednesday!

    1. G. P., You are very welcome for the memory refresh. New York State knows cold weather! I’m sure you had to prime the pump. Our kinfolk were sturdy folks. Pumping water, and all the farm chores were hard work!
