I like to wear hats, too!

Today I’m remembering Maude E. Eisenberger Stewart (1894-1983). She was a feisty but loving lady. I enjoy her stylish sense of fashion, and devotion to hat wearing! When she was a young mother, she would pay a neighbor to make most of her children’s clothing. Maude enjoyed picking out the fabrics and patterns. She was a great seamstress, but she liked to help out others. Her daughter, Evelyn, remembered that her mom often made sandwiches for the poor and homeless people near where they lived in Kingston, New Jersey. How nice to be remembered for acts of kindness!

When you have time, take a look at Cat’s blog at Show My Face. Happy Saturday!
